Atlantis Word Processor is a very good alternative to Microsoft Word as well as any other word processor you may think of. It has all the functions you would expect from a word processor, it is quite easy to use, it is customizable, and it can even be put on a portable storage device and taken with you no matter where you need to go.

Run said file once the download completes to install the word processor on top of a PC powered by anything from Windows 2000 onward, even Windows 8. While you type in Atlantis Word Processor, the application plays sound notifications in the background. Fun as they may be at first, they can get annoying after a while. When that happens you can disable all the sounds, disable just specific sounds, or change the existing sound notification with something else. Also, while you’re typing, Atlantis Word Processor displays the number of typed words at the bottom, the time you spend typing, and it keeps track of what words you type so that it can present you with suggestions. For example, if you type “George” a couple of times, the next time you start typing “geo”, the application suggests “George”.
