This is a great tool for TikTok users with large amounts of followers, who are looking to engage with via live stream. It is similar to Instagram Live and Facebook Live, only that it is a standalone application and only works on a computer. This means that TikTok’s LIVE Studio isn’t available on the mobile app. Keep in mind that to go live on TikTok, you must have a TikTok account that is, at least, 30 days old and must have, at least, 1000 followers.
How to go live on TikTok
- Open your TikTok LIVE Studio app on your PC and log in to your account (if you’re not already logged in).
- Tap the plus sign at the bottom center of your screen.
- Click the Live button next to the record option.
- Choose a title for your live stream, then select Go Live to start streaming!
- Note: If you do not see the option to go live from the recording screen, it’s most likely because your account has not met the necessary requirements to access TikTok’s live-streaming feature. Also, make sure the app is up-to-date.
